Style evolution on solid foundations
Chianti Bank
The new image of the Chianti Bank is based on the use of natural materials such as travertine and wood, whose colors evoke the beauty and richness of our territory.
The concept, by the Melucci & Nardini Architetti Associati firm of Florence, involved several branches: that of Florence in Viale Cialdini, that of Empoli and that of Mercatale Val di Pesa.
The construction of the individual branches was also designed by other architecture firms: the arch. Claudio Pellicoro has in fact designed the Viale Cialdini branch, while the architects Melucci and Nardini designed the Mercatale branch.
Travertine chosen
Travertine was chosen for its characteristics, indicated for public environments with high foot traffic and subject to great use. The specific color Terra Chiara (code PDR013), was chosen for its warm and wavy tones, evocative of the Tuscan landscape, with its colors and movements.
This selection perfectly matches the other natural materials that define the whole, especially with the wood used for the finishes.
